February marks the start of “Euphoria 3” filming.
The Sam Levinson-created series, which became the second-most viewed program in HBO history, trailing only Game of Thrones, was confirmed to have a third season on Friday, Feb. 4 by Francesca Orsi, vice president of programming for HBO:
The cast and crew of Euphoria, led by Sam Levinson and Zendaya, have raised the bar for Season 2’s storytelling while still keeping the show’s core values. We couldn’t be more thrilled to continue our adventure with this wonderful, incredibly talented crew into Season 3 or more honored to work with them.
The news that many have been waiting for has finally arrived, almost precisely one year after the announcement: filming for the new episodes will start in February of next year. The set of the program will come alive once more in a few weeks, and Zendaya and company will get together to reveal how the storylines of Rue and her companions will progress. The informed state that the third season of Euphoria should be released by 2024 given that one episode typically takes a month to produce. In conclusion, there is still a long way to go before we know how many of the storylines from season 2 progressed.
For instance, how much longer is Nate, Maddy, and Cassie’s love triangle meant to last? Will Rue be able to maintain sobriety and abstain from narcotics after reaching her lowest point? Will she end her conflict with Jules?
There are still many unanswered questions, and no information concerning Euphoria 3 has been made public. With the exception of Barbie Ferreira, who has already announced her departure from the series due to, it seems, some tensions that arose on the set with series creator Sam Levinson, the only thing that is certain is that we will likely see the entire original cast again, from Sydney Sweeney to Hunter Schafer. The actress felt that Kat Hernandez deserved the same advancement into new horizons as Maddy or Cassie and was tired of being used as a prop and being confined in the position of champion of self-love and female liberation. Fans who were heartbroken by Barbie’s departure have now started to make predictions about what will happen to the other characters. Many think that the conclusion of Euphoria 2 and the new events will occur at different times. In a recent interview, Zendaya expressed the same opinion, saying that it will be intriguing to witness the major characters of the series transfer to a setting other than high school and see what will become of their life, particularly if Rue’s tale and her journey to sobriety will finish. The answer won’t be available for several more months, but curlycurl will continue to provide updates.
