The pop star is now concentrating on the Chinese platform between supposed coming-outs and lip-syncs after flooding her Instagram account with sensual selfies, family photos, new music collaborations, and notes to admirers. The celebrity shared a sneak peek of a song from her next single, which was inspired by her love for Balenciaga, in a video chat with Terri Joe. The song’s lyrics go something like this: “Why does Balenciaga cost so much money? Frenchman is he. Why don’t I ever receive discounts from Balenciaga? Why do I wear nothing but Balenciaga?” She continued by saying that she “thought of making it into a musical.”
So, should we really anticipate a Madonna-produced musical about Balenciaga? I’m not sure. The musical has previously brought Madonna success; in fact, it helped her win a Golden Globe for her role in the 1996 film Evita. During the lockdown, when she reviewed Bob Fosse’s filmography, she admitted that she felt motivated to compose her own. The project’s supporters are therefore hopeful that it will move forward or, possibly, develop into a partnership with Demna Gvasalia for a capsule collection or fashion show. It would be fantastic to see Miss Ciccone walk in a fashion show for the Maison and see how the Georgian-born designer would update the look of the diva who, over her lengthy career, has worn a variety of different styles.
The singer is currently hard at work on her biopic, which will track her career in entertainment and star actress Julia Garner, who has gained notoriety for two Netflix TV series, Ozark and Inventing Anna. What is clear is that the actress has recently joined the large list of famous people who adore Demna Gvasalia’s designs and has worn the designer’s pieces on multiple occasions for the Maison. For instance, in a current Instagram image, Madge is pictured enjoying white wine and eating quesadillas while lounging in her bathtub. She is dressed in a blue jacket and a pair of baggy, torn trousers from Balenciaga.
