The experiment by Kuniko Morinaga for Anrealage.

In the Théâtre de la Madeleine in Paris, Anrealage official presented the transform performance. In an outstanding performance, Japanese fashion designer Kunihiko Morinaga discussed how vision affects how we view the world and, in this case, how we view clothing. He unveiled the Autumn Winter 2023–24 collection at Paris fashion week while playing notes from Ravel’s Boléro, displaying garments that may change color when exposed to UV light. In reality, the experiment demonstrated that even extremely complex hues and chromatic subtleties could be obtained using only UV light, leaving us with a question that is by no means an easy one to answer: What belongs to the fabric is the color.
