Fabio Jackson Responds to Claims He Was “Salty” Over Jaafar Jackson’s Michael Teaser

The internet can be quick to judge, especially when it comes to fan reactions. That’s exactly what happened to Michael Jackson impersonator Fabio Jackson, who recently addressed online speculation that he was “salty” or jealous about Jaafar Jackson’s performance in the upcoming biopic Michael.

After the teaser for the highly anticipated film dropped, some fans pointed out that Fabio’s reaction video seemed subdued compared to other creators who flooded social media with hype and excitement. But according to Fabio himself, his reaction wasn’t about jealousy — it was about authenticity.

“It’s hard to say anything at the present moment because all we got were glimpses, silhouettes and short shots,” Fabio explained. “It’s not enough to say anything. The best part, as you saw, was my reaction when I heard the voice. When I heard [it], that’s when it became real to me. [There’s potential here].”

The impersonator, who has built a following for his uncanny resemblance to the King of Pop, clarified that his calm demeanor wasn’t a reflection of negativity — but rather his thoughtful way of processing the teaser.

“When Jaafar said, ‘Q, can you turn down the lights, please?’ It was the best part,” he continued. “I’m sorry if I don’t react like your casual, normal YouTuber, streamer or Twitch streamer. They’re hyping that thing just for views. Me, I’m very real about things. I took it in and reflect it in a different way. Doesn’t mean that I’m angry, jealous, doesn’t mean anything. I just show appreciation on a different level.”

Fabio emphasized that he’s not one to jump on the hype train just for the sake of clicks or engagement.

“I’m not going to be ambitious about any movie at all in today’s age,” he added, hinting at a more grounded perspective on modern entertainment.

The statement reflects a broader sentiment among some fans who prefer a measured approach to film teasers, especially when the subject matter involves a legend like Michael Jackson.

Jaafar Jackson, Michael’s nephew, has received widespread praise for his striking resemblance to his uncle and for reportedly performing the musical sequences himself. While the teaser gave only a brief look at what’s to come, excitement around Michael continues to grow — and even Fabio Jackson seems intrigued by its potential.

In an era of viral reactions and instant opinions, Fabio’s calm response serves as a reminder that not every reaction needs to be loud to be genuine.
