For each Cruise Collection, Chiuri immerses herself in extensive local research, exploring cultures and partnering with local artisans. The 2025 Cruise collection is firmly anchored in Scotland, a land rich in distinctive iconography that offers abundant evocative references.

Drawing from historical and subcultural themes, Chiuri adeptly combines the traditional Scottish kilt—some pieces created in collaboration with Scottish designer Samantha McCoach of Le Kilt—with influences from punk culture and Renaissance armor and attire.

Presented in the gardens of the 1490 Drummond Castle, the collection reflects Chiuri’s enduring political message, encapsulated in a powerful phrase she aims to embroider on each garment: “Femininity is not a trap.”
